Permits for itinerant street trading

You can find information here on the rules that apply to street trading and sales in public places.

Markets can be held at Jerntorget in central Sandviken, which is a designated public sales area according to local regulations.

Space on Jerntorget can be rented on weekdays from 8:00 to 18:00 (winter) or from 8:00 to 20:00 (summer).

Price: SEK 100 per day, SEK 1,000 per month, or SEK 2,000 per year.

Regulations for market trading

To regulate market trading, there are regulations for market trading in Sandviken municipality. These tell you, among other things, what times apply to sales, what may be sold and other rules.

Sales in other public places

Public places are generally streets, roads, squares, parks, and similar areas not designated as public sales areas. A permit from the Police may be required to use public places for sales.
